On Wednesday 21st June, 2023, CIB dropped a bombshell announcement – they were stepping back and turning the page to a new chapter. It felt like it was the end of an era, but also the start of something new for them. CIB had become a major force in skating, helping shape the scene through a strong, supportive community and with developing products that genuinely made a difference. They built a movement. A worldwide crew. A loud, fearless, no-apologies kind of vibe that lit up the skating community and pushed boundaries.
Rio Roller have always been fans, and admired everything they created – their spirit, their vision, and the love they poured into everything they did. Recognising the quality in the products they developed with specialist attention to detail, made by skaters, for skaters! Rio Roller didn’t want to see that disappear for good.
Fast-forward two years, and Rio Roller are super proud to bring back the original CIB Slide Blocks. Same shape. Same strength. Same soul. Nothing’s changed! The only upgrade we’ve added is in the adapters, which are now adjustable!
